Michael J. Fox says life is ‘so much better than it could be’

In an recent interview fox opened up and said,”Gratitude is the way to go,” Fox says about living with a progressive neurodegenerative disease, adding he chooses to “be grateful for everything.”

He says that his experience is a blessing,His organization, The Michael J. Fox Foundation, has raised more than $2 billion dollars for biomedical research.

“I had to go right away to the top of the food chain and talk to these people about the lack of money for Parkinson’s research,” he says. “It’s just been an amazing journey ever since then.”

“I tend to live on the edge of my energy,” he says. “I just feel I have to. It’s a tradeoff. I want to be around for everything.

I want to be active at everything, keep working, keep my partnerships going, my good friends, and enjoy my time with my family. And it’s all good; it’s so much better than it could be.”
